Lyons Eye Creative is a tribute to my late mom, whose maiden name was Lyons, and whose unique ability to see the extraordinary in the everyday world continues to inspire my work. It’s this perspective I aim to capture in every image I create.
For me, photography is a calling. It’s a way of honoring my mom and the way she taught me to really look at the world around me. Through my camera lens, I get to freeze those moments and share them with others.
I specialize in capturing the unexpected, finding interest and beauty that might be overlooked by others. With an eye for the unseen, I’m drawn to details and perspectives that often go unnoticed; and my work often reveals the beauty in things that others might pass right by. There are hidden stories all around us and I like illustrating them.
Fun facts: I have 6 tattoos; I retired from a job of 29 years to pursue photography and I have a rescue dog, Kodak, who is often glued to my side.
